The VIPS2 is a multidisciplinary laboratory (history(story), social psychology, legal sciences, sciences of management, sciences of the intervention, the sociology) organized around two themes of research :

• Identify the processes of socializations by the sport and their consequences (stereotypes of genres, symbolic violence, etc.)

• Analyze the political actions of setting-up and development of the sport as well as the significant social and cultural innovations
